The traffic commissioner had issued an advisory to motorists to avoid the Panniyur stretch as high volume of traffic coming to the concert ground was expected. Many who came in cars was left stuck in the traffic jam and by the time they reached the venue and paid for parking, the entrance gates were closed. As they could not take the car out, they stayed outside the venue till the show ended. Rahman says the city should have a World class theatre for Live performance. Meanwhile Rahman’s daughter Khatija has in defence of her father said that money from concerts do go to only charitable purposes and not for self.
