Dunki is full of violence like Animal - British Censors - Superstardom a waste - Parvathy Thiruvothu

Dunki of SRK- Hirani combo is not a soft romantic film sprinkled with comedy and that feel so good moment. According to British Film Censor Certification Board the certificate says – it has solid violence, sexual threats (women abusing scenes), horror, suicide, adult comedy, and drugs. This is a shocker to all of us who saw the promotional content. The Indian censor has granted it U/A certificate and the Dunki makers were happy as Salaar releasing on same day got A certificate. Few days back British Censor gave Salaar A certificate and the reasons given were almost similar to What Animal got the adult certificate. Now that Dunki is nothing short of Salaar in terms of bloodshed and violence towards woman, the question is how will the family audiences react to Dunki after being brainwashed through promo songs and teaser that projected it as family entertainer ?. Salaar is first film in career of Prabhas that got an adult certificate. Salaar team is not worried as Animal got a thumping box office success. Dunki is released in Tamil Nadu by Gokulam Movies and distributed by Sakthi Vel of Sakthi Works Speaking about Censors, the CEO of Indian censor Board has been sacked. Man behind it is Vishal who complained of paying bribe to get a censor certificate for the Hindi version of Mark Antony.

Parvathy Thiruvothu whose Thangalaan starring Vikram is readying for release has kicked up a controversy. In an interview to a Malayalam FM channel, when asked about Superstardom , she said that she does not understand what it means. “ is it the influence or is it something that a fan gone mad on hero worship has given ?. Superstardom does not give anything. Who has benefited from it ? It is a sheer waste of time ,” . She was asked to name whom she felt was Super actors and she named Fahad Fazil- Rima Kalingal as super actors. In Malayalam, Mohanlal and Manju Warrier are called Superstars and in Tamil it is Rajinikanth and Nayanthara. Rajinikanth had given a veiled definition of Superstardom in reply to Thalapathy fans saying their idol was Superstar. In fact, Mohanlal is also known as Complete Actor.
