Ayalaan copy of CJ7 Chinese film - Vijay Sethupathy film below Mahesh Babu in Tamil Nadu
As Pongal releases first day shows are fixed by Tamil Nadu theatre owners, it looks like Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram’s ticket demand is on par with Dhanush Miller and Sivakarthikeyan Ayalaan. All the three films have a 9 AM shows booking window. Surprising part is that Vijay Sethupathi and Arun Vijay are on the same page as far as theatres are concerned and so they have pushed to 11 AM show for Pongal dates, Teja of HanuMan is a new entity for Tamil viewers and so this too is slotted for 11 AM.
Interestingly no Tamil films have got theatres for Sankaranti in Telugu speaking States. Chiranjeevi is a subtle way hinted that Dil Raju of the producers trade body had allotted less theatres to Hanu Man. Yet another website reported that Dil Raju was going to release Ayalaanin Nizam for Pongal. Raju clarified that it was Venkatesh and Nagarjuna films that got lesser theatres and not Hanu man and said that no Tamil dubbed films are coming for Pongal. In Tamil Nadu, Telugu films got theatres because Lal Salaam pulled out. There is a terrific demand for Hanuman premieres in Telugu states.
Sun TV Network Gemini bought the Guntur Kaaram rights at last minute. NetFlix bought the OTT.
Coming to Ayalaan, some whispers coming in after censoring is that the film is an adaptation of Chinese film CJ7 . The plot is - Single father Ti (Stephen Chow) works tirelessly to earn enough money to keep his son, Dicky (Xu Jiao), enrolled in a private school, hoping the education will lead to better career options. Dicky studies diligently, but his threadbare clothing prompts the derision of his affluent classmates, making him feel like an outcast. Unable to purchase an expensive toy Dicky wants, Ti finds a glowing ball in a junkyard and gives it to him. Soon, the orb turns into Dicky's new best friend -- an alien. It was directed by Stephen Chow and released in USA by Columbia and Sony in March 2008.

Director Chetan Kumar is directing the movie 'Burma'. For this movie V. Harikrishna composes the music. The alliance has previously worked together in hit films like 'Bahadur' and 'Bajrangi'. Now they have teamed up again for the third time for the movie 'Burma'.
