Vijay promo trip to Kochi for Leo - Mohanlal new look - Ex PM Deva Gowda grandson in films

The makers of the much-awaited film, Vrushabha treated fans and moviegoers with the announcement that the first schedule has been wrapped up. On this joyous occasion, the makers also unveiled the first look of Mohanlal from the Pan-India high-octane father-son drama. As expected, netizens couldn’t calm and his look became a talking point. Mohanlal is seen in a royal dress in the first look. With the sword in his hand and intensity in his eyes, his no-nonsense and regal avatar grabbed the eyeballs of fans, the media and the industry. The social media accounts of Mohanlal are full of appreciative comments. It won’t be wrong to say that the buzz for the film has gone many notches higher after Mohanlal’s first look was unveiled. Vrushabha stars Mohanlal, Roshan Meka, Shanaya Kapoor, Zahrah S Khan in the lead along with Srikanth Meka and Ragini Dwivedi. Touted to be one of the biggest films of 2024, Vrushabha is presented by Connekkt Media and Balaji Telefilms in association with AVS Studios. The film is directed by Nanda Kishore and produced by Vishal Gurnani (AVS Studios), Juhi Parekh Mehta, Abhishek Vyas, and Shyam Sunder (First Step Movies), Ektaa R Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor (Balaji Telefilms), along with Varun Mathur and Saurabh Mishra (Connekkt Media). The film is being shot simultaneously in Telugu & Malayalam and it will release in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada and Tamil.
Former PM Deve Gowda grandson and son of EX Karnataka CM Kumaraswamy , Nikhil Ramaswamy is to act in a film directed by Lakshman . This film marks the entry of Lyca Productions in the Kannada film market, A launch was held yesterday and Producer Subaskaran said that he waited for three years to get Nikhil to come board. Nikhil said that he taking a sabbatical from politics. Lakshman had directed Tamil films and his hit film was Romeo Juliet. Yukti Thareja who has acted in Telugu films is the leading lady.
Gokulam Gopalan seeing the huge box office collections of Jailer in Kerala has bought the Tamil film Leo for a record price. The film went for a high price as the hero of the film who is Thalapathy Vijay has agreed to come to Kochi for a promotional function. This would be the first time he is going to another State to promote his film. Vijay fan following is huge in Kerala and second base after his home town. Rajinikanth Jailer is still holding out despite new Onam releases by Dulquer king of Kotha and Nivin Pauly Ramachandra Boss. In Chennai Rohini theatre it has crossed 1 lakh footfalls. Sun Pictures put the gross at Rs 525 crores and makes it second to PS 1.
