At Cobra audio launch , Actor Vikram - "Actor Chiyyan Vikram said, “A few days ago I felt a small discomfort in my heart. For this I went to the hospital and got treatment and came back healthy. Meanwhile, unpleasant things happened on the social networking site. Thank you for that. However, many people close to me panicked and inquired. I am healthy. I am fine. This is why I am participating in this function. Nothing will happen for me until I have the support and blessings of my fans, friends. Everyone knows that I had an accident when I was 20. During that time when I had to remove the leg, I fought with determination and recovered from it. So I don't know much about what happened now.
I am always for cinema. Cinema is my only life. I don't know anything else. Many years ago I acted in an advertisement called 'Chozha Tea'. I played a Cholaraja in it. A young man named Dileep composed the music for it. But today I am playing the same Aditya Karikalan in the historical epic Ponni's Selvan. Dileep, who was then AR Rakhuman, has won two Oscars.
I have also won the National Award for Best Actor. The reason for this is that at some moments I also thought that I should win an Oscar. R. Rahman Sir. He proved that he can win an Oscar even if he works from here. This means that if we have a dream... if we have an ambition... if we work hard for it... anyone can reach great heights. You can touch the limit to the extent you never imagined. AR Rahman is the best example of this. He is the pride of India. The living era. A Living Legend. I am a fan of his music like everyone else. I am very grateful to him for his contribution in 'Cobra'. Director Ajay would always tell me about Rakhuman that the film has complex visual settings, subtle character emotions, which could not have been accomplished by anyone but AR Rahuman with music.
Producer Lalit Kumar introduced me to a wonderful director. Every actor should have a good story. It needs a good director and board to run it. I would like to take this moment to thank the producer Lalit Kumar for making this.
I was happy when 'Cobra' was released by Red Giant Movies. I am happy because victory is certain. I am thankful to Udayanidhi Stalin for this.
Irrfan Pathan has always been my hero. He is the best all-rounder. He has hit a lot of sixes in this film as well. Malayalam actor Roshan Mathew plays a different villain role in this film. Working with many stars like Anandraj, KS Ravikumar, Meenakshi Govindarajan, Mrinalini Ravi, Robo Shankar was an unforgettable experience.
Thanks to Dhruv Vikram for visiting this function. You acted well in 'Mahaan'. I think your father would be proud of that.
Director Ajay is a great creator. He is his equal in imagination. His films like 'Dimonty Colony', 'Imaika Nods', 'Cobra' are of different genres. I also know the story of his next film. That too is a different genre. It's great. Ajay is always a hard worker. The film will be a huge success thanks to his hard work and dedication.
This is the first complex character I have ever taken on. Although there are seven characters in the film, there was a lot of melee to accommodate the director's request that each one should have a different background dialogue. It is not a story about characters. The story is based entirely on emotional. He has carved every scene and every character delicately. For this you should get the biggest success.
As long as I have the love and support of the fans, everything will be a success for me. I have no words to respond to the love shown by the fans. "If you don't, I don't exist". said.
Five songs featured in the film 'Cobra' and 'Isaiphuyal' by A. R. Raghuman and his team sang on stage, introduced songs from the film and enthralled the audience.
