Two South remakes flop in Bollywood and two Nepo kids stare at a flop. Yet another nepo kid ready for launch. Hindi remake of Love Today the Tamil film is Loveyeappa and first reviews are bad. Despite high profile publicity, the film opening is lukewarm. Even a re-release Sanam Teri Kasam has a bigger opening. Junaid Khan son of Aamir Khan and Sridevi daughter Khushi debuted on OTT and this is their first theatre release. Loveyapa is an official remake of the Tamil romantic comedy Love Today, which arrived in 2022 and was a super hit. Mounted on a budget of 6 crore, the film earned 66.57 crore in its lifetime, almost 11 times higher than its budget. Love Today, churned out a profit of 60.57 crore, making an unbelievable 1009.5% return on investment! Malayalam film Mumbai Police remade as Deva by Roshan Andrews who directed the original is struggling to get decent numbers at box office. Andrews made a few crucial changes and for Shahid Kapoor it got him good reviews but the box office is weak. Film has total of 29.05 crore net and it will finish with 35 crore net domestic lifetime. Film collected 34.01 crore gross worldwide over the weekend and approximate 50 crore worldwide gross in 1st week. We need to thank him for that." "Irrespective of whom we take this film too, there will be a risk factor for them. So, when we decided to do it ourselves. When we were able to make that decision was when cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa came into this project and took a look at it and we had a discussion," Simbu informed before going on say that none of the team members had taken any money so far for this project. "You won't believe it. I am talking about the entire team from Manoj sir, Yuvan sir or be it the editor. Not a single person has taken a penny as fee for this film. STR on his birthday announced that his 50th film will be produced by him and directed by Desiangh as director and Manoj Paramhamsa as cameraman. STR's 50th film, which was supposed to be undertaken by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal International Films, will now be bankrolled by Atman Cine Arts. STR's 49th film was announced at midnight today. Bankrolled by Dawn Pictures, STR 49 will be helmed by Ramkumar Balakrishnan of 'Parking' fame. He also has a film with Ashwath Marimuthu in his pipeline, bankrolled by AGS Entertainment.

Women workers were being forced to level allegations at instance of WCC.
