 Pon Parthipan screenplay writer- author turns director with an upcoming film starring Jyotika as the protagonist. It will be produced by her home banner 2D Entertainments. An official announcement about the cast and crew is expected.

Jyotika has been doing films that are heroine centric and offlate she has started accepting films that are having a social message. Pon Parthipan had collaborated with Karthi ( brother of Suriya0 for Kaithi. Director was Lokesh Kanakraj who is now directing Kamal Haasan film Vikram.  Parthipan’s earlier works  as screenplay writer and dialogue writer for Kaatrin Mozhi , a Jyotika film had impressed Karthi who recommened him to Lokesh.

Parthipan has worked for Irumbu Thirai, He shared credits for screenplay writing of the Vijay film  Master .  He has written for Sivakarthikeyan film Hero.Now it is the next step to take up direction . The actress recently wrapped up the shoot of her upcoming film Udanpirappe directed by Era Saravanan
